About the Recipe
Hummus has got everything going for it, it is versatile and quick to make. It has had a constant place on my menus whether it is a simple healthy dip to be served with crudites for a hungry teenager, used as part of a mezze platter, or served in a wrap with falafels it is a winner every time.

Ingredients
1 tin chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
1 garlic clove
2 tbsp tahini
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp olive oil
1–2 tsp Moroccan spice mix
Salt to taste
Water to loosen
Preparation
Blitz the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, and spice mix in a food processor.
Add a splash of water for a smoother texture.
Taste and season with salt as needed.
Serving Suggestion:Serve with warm flatbreads, crudités, or as a topping for roasted aubergine or grain bowls.
